Eid Al Adha Meaning

Eid Al Adha Meaning: Eid al-Adha is the biggest feast for Muslims, this is the Eid in which Haj is organized, Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam.

Eid al-Adha comes to the tenth number of Dhu al-Hijjah every year. Arafat's day comes before, where Muslims stand on the Arafat mountain to perform on the main pillar of Hajj, the next day they celebrate Eid al-Adha, where they continue pilgrimage till 12th Dhu al-Hijjah.

On Eid al-Adha, there are religious functions other than Haj, where Muslims offer animal sacrifices, and distribute their meat to the poor and needy, this is the reason that this Eid is called Eid al-Adha.

One of Eid al-Adha is most beautiful rituals are Eid al-Adha prayer, where adults and young people meet and their hearts are filled with happiness, their clothes are the most beautiful and congratulate each other.

Traveling begins between relatives, brothers and friends, and young people are happy with their toys and people are very generous and deliver candy, meat, dessert and holiday cakes to the poor and needy.
